A Painfully Revealing Autobiography of Kim Shortreed-Webb

Sold for a rusty navel ring in a pirate poker game, a young Kim found himself cast ashore in the wilds of Weston-Super-Mare, England. Forced to forage on a diet of root grubs and rat meat, he would soon join a sea-bound circus troupe as Squirrel Boy--The World's Largest Flying Mammal.

The troupe's ship ran aground in British Columbia during the great storm of 1978. Squirrel Boy made his home in the hippy village of White Rock before escaping in the trunk of a car to Vancouver Island.

Much of his life was a transcendent blur until recently. He now resides in the highest room of the Belfry Theatre, in the heart of Fernwood. Kim continues to perform as the enigmatic and frenetic Squirrel Boy in order to make endsmeat. With partial sponsorship by the Canadian government, Kim hopes to alter his destiny of destitution.
